Northern Italy Tour | Venice - Florence - Pisa | Sept. 2025

Tuesday, Sept 2nd – Guest depart USA to Italy

Wednesday, Sept 3rd – Guest arrive in Venice Marco Polo International Airport, greeted by your driver. Transportation 6 seater minivan included will take guest to your 4 STAR hotel to CHECK IN – suggest Antony Hotel in Mestre. Dinner at the hotel, included.

Thursday, Sept 4th – Breakfast at the hotel, included. Guide included will meet guest at the hotel reception at 9:30 am. Taxi included will take guide and guest from the hotel to the Mestre train station for a one way transfer from Mestre to Venice, train tickets included. Visit of Venice with guide for a 4 hour tour of Venice in the morning. Before the guide leaves the guest to have lunch on their own and the afternoon on their own, the guide will give them their return train tickets Venice to Mestre – guest and guide MUST CONFIRM the exact time of departure from Venice (seeing the train schedule w/the guide). After guest have lunch, free time in the afternoon on their own. NOTE: The guide will stay with you for a maximum of 6 hours and can assist you in the afternoon to a visit of the Murano glass factory (guest will pay on the spot for the boat transfer). The guide will assist guest to the Venice train station to go to Mestre. Once they are in the Mestre train station, guest will need to get a taxi on their own to return to the hotel. Dinner on their own.

Friday, Sept 5th – Breakfast at the hotel, included. Guide included will meet guest at the hotel reception at 9:30 am. Taxi included will take guide and guest from the hotel to the Mestre train station, train tickets included, for transfer from Mestre to Treviso (a city and commune in the Veneto region). Guide included will take you for a tour of Treviso and then for a tour of the Museum Battle of the Vittorio Veneto (guest requested this tour). Museum tickets are purchased on the spot at the guest expense. Free time for lunch on your own. The guide will take the guest to the Treviso train station to get them on their train to Mestre. Once they are in the Mestre train station, guest will need to get a taxi on their own to return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel, included.

Saturday, Sept 6th – Breakfast at the hotel, included. CHECK OUT of your hotel. Your private driver included will take you from your hotel to Maranello to visit the Ferrari Museum. Museum tickets are purchased on the spot at the guest expense. Free time for lunch on your own. Guest will then travel, included to CHECK IN to their 4 STAR CITY CENTER hotel in Florence (TBD-FH55 Grand Hotel Mediterraneo). Unpack and relax. Dinner at the hotel, included.

Sunday, Sept 7th – Breakfast at the hotel, included. Guide included will meet you (location TBD) for a 3 hour tour of Florence. Museum tickets are purchased on the spot at the guest expense. Lunch in a restaurant, included (guide will assist you to location). The afternoon/evening is free to explore. We suggest you tour the Petti Palace and the Boboli Gardens at your expense and at your leisure. Return to your hotel at your leisure by foot. Dinner on your own.

Monday, Sept 8th – Breakfast at the hotel, included. FREE DAY TO EXPLORE. We suggest you use this day to tour the Gold Factory (we will suggest the location). Lunch and dinner on your own.

Tuesday, Sept 9th – Breakfast at the hotel, included. Private driver, included will meet guest at hotel and take them for a visit to Villa Antinori - Tuscany. The tour for wine tasting and lunch (approximately 180 EURO each as of 2024…approximately $190 EACH US dollars, and is NOT included in the land price). Guest are to go online 3 months prior to arrival to purchase their tickets (the winery does not book this far in advance). After lunch, transportation included will return you to the hotel for free time and dinner on your own.

Wednesday, Sept 10th – Breakfast at the hotel, included. FREE DAY TO EXPLORE. We suggest you use this day to tour the Duomo, Uffizi and Accademia. Entrance tickets at your expense. Lunch and dinner on your own.

Thursday, Sept 11th – Breakfast at the hotel, included. Guide (time TBD) will meet you at your hotel and take you to the meeting place of the bus. Take the bus, included to La Spezia and meet the guide included to take you for the visit of Cinque Terre with other people to tour the famous five towns. Also included will be a boat ride also for touring the area. Lunch is included with other guests and the guide will direct you where to have lunch. The bus included, will return you to your original destination where you met in the morning. Dinner on your own.

Friday, Sept 12th – Breakfast at the hotel, included. Transportation and time TBD included will take you for a private COOKING CLASS with lunch included. Transportation will return guest to hotel, included. Dinner on your own.

Saturday, Sept 13th – Breakfast at the hotel, included. Guide will meet you at your hotel, time and transportation (TBD) included will take you for a tour of Siena, San Gimignano and Monteriggione, guide, included. This will be with other guest. Wine tour tasting and lunch included with other guest. Transportation and guide included will return you back to your hotel. Dinner on your own.

Sunday, Sept 14th – Breakfast at the hotel, included. Time and location to meet transportation (TBD) included will take you for a tour of Pisa. Guide included will meet guest at the hotel (TBD) and take guest to the Florence train station, tickets included to go to Pisa. Tour with guide included of Pisa. Museum tickets are purchased on the spot and at guest expense. Free time for lunch on your own. Return by train to Florence and then the guide will leave the guest for free time on their own and dinner on their own.

Monday, Sept 15th – Breakfast at the hotel, included. FREE DAY TO RELAX and prepare luggage for journey back to USA. Lunch on your own. Farewell Dinner complimentary from Italy Plus Tours at your hotel, included.

Tuesday, Sept 16th – Breakfast at your hotel, included. Should you have an unusual EARLY am flight, you may receive a “bagged breakfast” if time permits. Transportation included will greet you at your hotel and take you to the Florence Airport Peretola (formally Amerigo Vespucci) to Rome or Venice to Detroit - USA (you/ we will need to see what gives you the best offer from Florence airport).
