Rome - Abruzzo - Amalfi | May 2026

Thursday, May 7th – Depart from Cleveland to Rome.

Friday, May 8th – Arrive in Rome early morning, approximately 10 :30 am depart airport with a guide, included and bus included, for a panoramic tour of Rome. Then enjoy a visit of the Squares –on foot with the local guide (maximum guide time 5 hrs). You will see Piazza Venezia, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon (to enter the Pantheon is approximately 5 euro per person guest pay at the site). Free time for lunch on your own during this tour time. Transportation will take you to CHECK IN to your city center hotel (TBD) suggested : Hotel Delle Nazioni and then enjoy Welcome Dinner at the hotel, approximately 7:00 pm included. Saturday, May 9th – Breakfast at the hotel included. Today is a choice of FREE DAY for guest to be on their own …. OR …. for guest wishing to tour the Vatican and Colosseum (after breakfast) approximately 9:00 am guest wishing to tour the Vatican church St. Peter’s Basilica with a guide, have time for lunch on your own, then depart to visit the Colosseum with a guide. Transportation will return guests back to the hotel or original meeting location. The tour operator will need to know the exact names of the guest and number of guests for each museum by March 6, 2026 (at least withing 60 days of departure). The tour operator will give us the cost for each museum ticket, and the guests touring these museums will pay this in advance in addition to their land payment. Today ALL guests will have free time for lunch on their own and a free evening to have dinner on their own with many selections in nearby restaurants close to the hotel.

Sunday, May 10th – Breakfast at the hotel included. CHECK OUT of the hotel. Since you are city center hotel guests will depart (time TBD) via mini vans from the hotel to get you to your larger bus to take guests to Sulmona (approximately 2.5 hour drive). We will meet with a guide, included for a visit of Sulmona and a special confectionery factory with a tasting and light lunch, included. Monday, May 11th – Breakfast at the hotel included. CHECK OUT of the hotel. Depart from the hotel in the morning included (time TBD) for a 45 minute drive to Castel di Sangro in the Province of L’Aquila. Guests will have a guided tour of the city center. Time for lunch on your own. Transportation included will take guests to CHECK IN to the city center hotel (TBD) suggested : Hotel La Fenice and have dinner at the hotel together, included. Tuesday, May 12th – Breakfast at the hotel included. After breakfast (time TBD) guests will depart via bus transportation, included (a 25 minute drive) to visit the neighboring towns for a guided tour included of Pescocostanzo, e Roccaraso. Free time for lunch on your own. Transportation included will return guest to city center hotel for dinner included and Folk Music Show (if available) included at the hotel.

Wednesday, May 13th – Breakfast at the hotel included. After breakfast (time TBD) guests will depart via bus transportation, included (a 1 hour drive) to visit Agnone in the Province of Isernia. Guests will have a guided tour included of cheese making dairy shop and tasting, included. Free time for lunch on your own. Transportation will return guests for dinner together at the hotel included.

Thursday, May 14th – Breakfast at the hotel included. Depart by bus (time TBD) for a group cooking class with lunch included. Return to your hotel at Castel Di Sangro for dinner together at the hotel included.

Friday, May 15th – Breakfast at the hotel included. CHECK OUT of your hotel and depart (time TBD) for a winery and wine tasting and light lunch included. Transportation to take you to Sorrento to CHECK IN to your city center hotel (TBD) suggested : Hotel Central, and enjoy dinner together at the hotel, included. Click Here to view hotel.

Saturday, May 16th – Breakfast at the hotel included. Guests will then have a guided tour with tickets included to depart for the port of Sorrento via boat to visit ~ Capri and Ana Capri. Time for lunch on your own. Return to the hotel to freshen up and then get ready to enjoy our Fairwell Dinner included, at “O' Parrucchiano La Favorita” Restaurant included. NO reservation at the restaurant has been made. NOTE: Guest wishing to take a boat tour of Faraglioni while in Capri, cost is an additional 30 euro per person.

Sunday, May 17th – Breakfast at the hotel included. Guests will depart for a guided tour included visit to Amalfi & Ischia in the morning. Time for lunch on your own. Return to the hotel for dinner at the hotel, included with live music (if available). Relax and enjoy your last evening in Sorrento and rest and prepare your suitcases for your departure tomorrow.

Monday, May 18th – Breakfast at the hotel (possibly a bag breakfast if early departure). CHECK OUT of the hotel. Transportation included will take you to the airport for early departure Naples airport to USA.
