Tuesday, October 14th – Depart USA for Greece

Wednesday, October 15th – Arrival in Athens, Greece, Welcome Cocktail Party and Dinner. Upon arrival at the Athens newly constructed airport you will be greeted by private transfer, included to your deluxe 4-star Titania Hotel in the heart of Athens. You will be assisted with your CHECK-IN for a smooth and effortless experience. Time to relax and adjust to your new time with a welcome cocktail included, followed by a scrumptious welcome dinner, included.

Thursday, October 16th – Athens City tour, visiting Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum and afternoon Cape Sounion tour. After breakfast, included, we depart from the hotel to begin our journey back to ancient Greece, “the cradle of civilization”. This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896. We continue and pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (ex-Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis, we visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens. The Propylaea, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon. We continue and admire the wonders of the classical era: the new Acropolis Museum. After a walking tour in the picturesque Plaka and the central market to taste Greek products, we stop for an authentic Greek lunch, included. The rest of the day is at leisure to shop or just stroll. Around 3:00 pm we depart for Cape Sounion. Marvel over one of Greece’s most photographed monuments on this half-day tour to the Temple of Poseidon from Athens. Wind your way along the coastal cliffs and beaches on the scenic drive to Cape Sounion, then grab your camera as you spot the magnificent remains of the Temple of Poseidon, perched high on the sea cliffs. Dinner included, follows at a local fish restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Friday, October 17th – Flight from Athens to Santorini. CHECK OUT of your hotel. After breakfast, included, we will transfer guest included to the airport for your flight included, to Santorini. Upon your arrival, enjoy a tour of the capital of the island Fira, where you will have free time to walk and browse in the local small shops and cafes. Free time for lunch on your own. Then transfer to your hotel to CHECK IN in Fira. Free time for dinner on your own.

Saturday, October 18th – Full-day Santorini Island tour with Wine Tasting and Lunch. This morning after breakfast, included, we will begin our tour with a visit to the traditional village of Pyrgos, the best-preserved medieval village on the island. It is situated at the foot of Mt. Profitis Ilias, (Mt. Prophet Elijah), Santorini’s highest peak at 1900 feet, named after the Monestery. Finally, you will enjoy the prehistoric village of Akrotiri and visit the well-preserved excavations from 1600 B.C. Next, we visit Koutsogiannopoulos Winery for a great lunch and of course, a wine tasting, included! Transportation included will return you to the hotel for dinner on your own.

Sunday, October 19th – Santorini Catamaran Cruise with Dinner. After breakfast, included, the morning is at leisure for you. In the afternoon at 2:00 pm we will pick you up at the hotel for a sunset Catamaran Cruise by the magical Caldera (a volcanic cauldron). We will sail the sea route from Red Beach to White Beach to the Black Mountain and the Hot Springs. Witness to a spectacular sunset ~ a memory to last your lifetime! As night falls, a sumptuous dinner is served complete with wine and dessert, included. Marvel at the shimmering stars in the sky and twinkling lights on the island by night. Transportation included will return you to your hotel.

Monday, October 20th – Oia Tour with Wine Tasting. This morning after breakfast, included… you can be at leisure. Later (Time TBD) you will visit the beautiful village of Oia which is approximately 150 meters above sea level. The beauty of Oia is unsurpassed! In fact, it is almost impossible to describe in words. Small white houses tier the hillside, interspersed by splashes of rich okra, deep fushia, cobalt blue, oyster pink and earthy red. Oia is one of the most photographed places in Greece. It has inspired artists, poets and every visitor who visits Santorini will experience that Oia is best known for the breath-taking sunsets. If truth be told, the sunrise in Oia is also magical! Next, we will visit a winery for the wine tasting, included. The Winery is nestled in between vines on the ancient scenic plain of Oia. This experience will last approximately 2 hours. Transportation included will return you to your hotel for dinner on your own.

Tuesday, October 21st – Day at Leisure. After breakfast, included, today is a day to do as you wish, relax, shop, organize your luggage, visit a café for lunch on your own. In the evening, (Time TBD) enjoy together with your group, a farewell dinner, included (TBD local restaurant OR at the hotel).

Wednesday, October 22nd – Early Morning Flight from Santorini to Athens to Connect to Your Flight Back to the USA. CHECK OUT of your hotel. After breakfast, included, transportation included, will take you from the hotel to the airport to return home.
